Prof. Dr. Chanongkorn Kuntonbutr, the dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), said that “The faculty has opened the International Program in Business Administration (IBBA) which is recently offering for 4 majors, Marketing, International Business Administration, Business English and Computer Information System. In accordance, the activity about the foreign language training is always conducted every year aiming not only to prepare the readiness for teachers in term of knowledge and communicative skills, but also the activity is believed that to produce the efficient knowledgeable students (good practice students), teachers should have been in good practice in advent. Therefore in this year, the same language training has been set up and there are 15 selected teachers participating and the period of the program has been divided into 2 parts; the first part is conducting during April 18 – 29, 2011 and the second part is set during May 8-24, 2011. Totally, the 1.9-million-baht budget is spent in this time.”
The dean of the faculty continually said that “this training program is strongly expected to encourage any participants to be more in self-confident and have more communicative skills in order to exchange efficiently about the knowledge with the other foreign professionals and present academic works in the international academic forum. Moreover, the results will be also expected to deliver the benefits toward the teaching especially in the International Program. Also, the improvement in terms of languages such as English, Chinese, and others is very significant in today’s situations whereas there are many trade investments coming into Thailand. So, any faculties in the University are urged to develop and prepare any teachers to be ready to respond the aforementioned issues and produce the quality graduates to serve the society.
