Prof. Dr. Chanongkorn Kuntonbutr, the dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), said “ for the purposes of the development of the education quality for the forward movement to the international standard of teaching, enhancing university teachers’ communicative skills before delivering their knowledge to their students is the most significant issue today. Therefore, the Faculty always conducts the “Foreign Language Training Programs” projects provided for the teachers who are teaching in the field of business administration” every year in order that they can increase the aforementioned skills for the international trade negotiation usage responding to the increasing in-flow foreign investment and the fierce competition. Moreover, good practice students need to be taught by the good practice teachers.”
He added that “for, the project this year, there are 15 selected teachers to be trained. The training is separated into 2 times. The first time will be conducted in Thailand during April 18-29, 2011 and the second time will be in England during May, 8 – 24. So, the chosen participants will have great opportunities to learn more about foreign living ways. Hereby, the 1.9-million-bahtbudget is spent and the program is set to train about teaching, communicating and exchanging about academic matters with the foreign professionals in efficiency.”
“Empowering the skills about the languages such as English, Chinese and others which are involving in trade investment in Thailand is necessary to be done. Faculties through the university need to get their teachers ready to be able to produce the quality graduates. Communicative skills can be a beginning issue to develop and followed by the other necessaries. Finally, these can benefit potentially for teachers to produce quality manpower to serve the local through international level markets.” said Dr. Chanongkorn.
