Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and Chairman of the RMUTT Council, participated in the discussion titled “Road to The Future” at the event “FUTURE THAILAND” organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation at Samyan Mitrtown. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art revealed that this participation was to brainstorm, exchange opinions, and align with the Ministry’s policies.
RMUTT received a commendation award at the 9th regional level under the Educational Quality Development and Local Development Project by the RMUTT Center of Innovation and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education, with higher education institutions acting as mentors. Asst. Prof. Dr. Tassaporn Saengsawang led the strategy of fostering out-of-the-box thinking towards innovative thinking using the 5I Model. This process was used in teaching to develop teachers’ skills in delivering career-oriented lessons and was concretely implemented among students, seeing tangible results.
Moreover, the knowledge from the faculty of Home Economics Technology was leveraged to create the school’s Signature Products, developing them into community learning resources to foster Start-Up entrepreneurship. A sustainable network was established from schools to communities to transform education quality and local development, resulting in future strong communities.
