ASIC, UK presents "Quality of Education" Award to RMUTT Business Administration Faculty

The Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC), UK, has awarded the “Quality of Education” certification to the Faculty of Business Administration at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) for all nine programs, making it the first in Thailand to achieve this milestone. The certification marks the exceptional quality of education provided by RMUTT’s programs which were evaluated in September 2023. The evaluation covered course standards, teaching preparations, facilities, safety, interviews with stakeholders, and policy directions based on ASIC standards, resulting in an “Exceptional” rating.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-at, the RMUTT President, revealed that the Faculty of Business Administration, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Klaharn Na Nan, Dean of the Faculty, sought the accreditation to elevate education and teaching to international levels. The comprehensive assessment validated all aspects of the nine programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Klaharn Na Nan, Dean of the Faculty, expressed that Dr. Maurice Kenneth Dimmock, Chairman of ASIC, UK, and his team, presented the award and certification to the faculty and staff for the following nine programs:

1. B.B.A. (Marketing)
2. B.B.A. (Management)
3. B.B.A. (Business Computer)
4. B.B.A. (Finance)
5. B.B.A. (International Business Administration)
6. B.B.A. (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
7. B.ACC. (Accountancy)
8. B.Econ. (Economics)
9. B.B.A. (International Program)

Additionally, two special awards were granted: “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” and “Research and Development Capacity Building,” during the RMUTT Open House 2024 event held at the Rajamangala Auditorium, RMUTT. Special appreciation ceremony had also been conducted to all the administrators, faculty members, students, and stakeholders who have driven and affirmed the operations of the Faculty of Business Administration, making it widely recognized. RMUTT is committed to continuously improving its quality. Asst. Prof. Dr. Salitta Saribut, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Business Administration, RMUTT, added that, in addition to ASIC certification, the Faculty of Business Administration has also been accredited by AUN-QA standards in various programs.
