04/10/2010During last summer, a group of young generation attended “Science Knowledge and Information Technology and Communication or ICT Camp, held by the department of Electronic Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology
Thanyaburi(RMUTT), under the theme “ The combination between local knowledge and high- innovation”
Contents are divided into three parts; (1)Electronic and Electronic Design both theory and practice (2)Computer Programmes (3)Communications and Internet Broadband. This was added some group activities to having well- affected toward
each other among 30 students from grade 9-12.
Mr.Siwakorn Baupian(Kotch),grade 6 ,Kasinthorn St.Peter School,Nontaburi ,told that he always spends his time for chatting with friends through MSN programme,playing online games.His father allowed him to use a computer only an hour per
day.He had been attending for 5 days but he gained lots of knowledge such as computer LAN line system from university lecturers and scholars which helps him in everyday life. Miss Pa-kwan Songkarat(Leena),grade 9,Triamudomsuksa
Pattanakarn School ,Nontaburi ,said that this was the second time she attended ,she could adapt knowledge gained from last time to her studies very well.The contents are updated this time to current online social network such as Hi5 and
Facebook.I was not keen on these things much but now I know that this is quite useful .We can adjust and design our profile by using some techniques to make it more interesting.
Mr.Kitthana Suwanthada(Num),grade 12 ,Pakkred School ,explained that he had learned how to use computer programmes such as Flash Photoshop.Apart from knowledge ,he also got new friends to exchange their experiences.This camp made
me know myself ,Computer is what I want to study further in the future.Besides, he told that not only Office Programmes and Internet,there are plenty of computer programmes to study by yourselves.
Two siblings, Mr.Siwaroj Bumpenthan(Five),grade 9,Thanyasitthisilpa School and Miss Nat-hatai Bumpenthan (Fah),grade 7 ,Thanyarat School,they told that both of them never attended any camps before in their lives.Apart from
knowledge,they felt fun to having participations and had a chance to practice with real equipments which they used to see through TV,made them feel great and happy so much. “Next school holidays,want to invite more friends to this camp” they
said.
