Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn kindly went to Thai Red Cross Fair 2010,Pathum-Thani as the president of opening ceremony. This fair is set under the theme of “city of flowers” and under the name of “ Excellent Products of Pathum-Thani” which is the co-operation between Future Park Rangsit Department Store ,government sectors , and other private sectors in Pathum-Thani province.It is opening now until 30thMay ,2010 at Cascata Zone ,G floor.
The aim is to raising the fund for Thai Red Cross Society Pathum-Thani to help society.Inside the fair,there is plenty of orchids both rarely-found in Thai and aboard such as “Kaokae”, “Vanda”, “Aiyares”, “Cathaleeya”, more than 200 are sweet-scented all around the fair.Besides,amazing with the colourful overlapped flowers (2 levels and 3 levels).HRH Princess Chulabhorn also went to see the transformed products from lotus, sesbania, Thai rose, pandanus, white champaka, and so on.
After that ,HRH Princess Chulabhorn watched the show called “Pathum-Thani ,the land of lives and culture ”.Then,officially opened the fair by cutting ribbon and went to Chulabhorn Foundation’s Shop to sell her royal handmade 39 bracelets in the total value of 219,200 Baht which were sold out within 10 minutes and gave the speech that “Thank you for supporting ,this would be brought to help the poverty”.
HRH Princess Chulabhorn also went to see the exhibitions under the theme of “Excellent city,beautiful culture,and to respect the king”by paying the respects to three kings of Thailand who royally came to Pathum-Thani ;His Majesty The King Buddha Loetla Nabhalai (Rama I) ,His Majesty The King Chulalongkorn (Rama IV) ,and His Majesty The King Bhumibol Adulyadej(Rama IX).
HRH Princess Chulabhorn visited the booth of well-known products of Pathum-Thani both food and Thai desserts,transformed products,and regardly paid attention to the perfume extracted from sweet lotus,invented by Rajamangla University of Technology Thanyaburi and said that it has the very sweet smell and never had the smell like this before.
