RMUTT supports Singburi Vocational College to establish the Vocational College of Science Technology Base (Singburi)
ssistant Professor.Jarean Jareanchai,the dean of the faculty of home economics technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi(RMUTT) revealed that the office of vocational education commission and the office of science technology policy and innovation commission together have a co-operation to set up the science technology based school.
In first year,having Singburi Vocational College as the navigated school,providing Food Science Technology Programme for vocational education students, by having RMUTT lecturers as the trainers. Project Based Teaching and Learning is used at initiation. Core subjects that are taught covering in applied basic and vocational programmes as well as workshops and assignments.
“The outstanding of this project is focused on teaching and learning in vocational education level which covered all educational modules and vocational modules in order to inspire and encourage students to having creative thinking skills.Besides, trainings will lead to the abilities in inventing and developing such as new technology,in accordant with RMUTT policy to train our RMUTT students become the practical graduate.If those students achieve the score standard, they will be able to apply at RMUTT undergraduate programme and also other university trainers” Assist.Prof.Jarean said.
Required qualifications to attend this project as the followings;
1.Completed Grade 9 of Secondary School by having grade point average (GPA) at 2.75 within five semesters.
2.GPA in Science and Math should not be below than 3.00.
