02/10/2011RMUTT offers the transferred degrees for four faculties
Assistant Professor Dr.Panpetch Chininthorn, the vice president of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), said about the matters of admitting new students for transferred course that the University is opening up a direct entrance examination for 2012 academic year for only who completes their Certificates of Higher Vocational Education. There are four faculties offering the aforementioned courses; the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Home Economics Technology and the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology. In studying policy, every faculty sets 2 years for the degree completion but the Faculty of Engineering is accepted because it needs 3 years instead. At the University, this academic year is different from previous years due to the attempts to finish the process prior to study. If the process could not be completed as mention, the University will immediately put the students into the summer semester so that the students will be able to graduate within the time addressed. However, this must also depend upon the students’ potentials and grades. The reason for the Faculty of Engineering requires three years for degree completion is that both credits and various elective courses are different. Moreover, the credits for studying in Higher Vocational Education are different from the other institutions offering. Mostly, each subject has 2 credits; meanwhile our university has 3 credits. Therefore, the time duration must be longer. Nevertheless, the University believes that the provided courses are sufficient for the demand. The application can be purchased either by mails from September 15th to October 15th, 2011 or by walk in from October 1st to November 15th, 2011. For more information call 0-2549-3613-5
