Dr.Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) , presided over the online MoU signing ceremony for an academic cooperation between Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Otago University, New Zealand. Dr.Sommai Pivsa-Art as the representative of RMUTT jointly with Professor Helen Nicholson, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Otago offers bilateral cooperation that aims to offer the Joint Programme in Business Foundation Studies which requires students to take an 8-week to prepare and build business foundation skills. Fortunately, Thai students are offered with golden educational opportunity to participate in the Joint Programme in Business Foundation Studies by RMUTT and one of the world’s top universities, University of Otago.
Asst. Prof. Nartrapee Tun-Cho, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration (RMUTT), revealed that since the conclusion of the project, the RMUTT-Faculty of Business Administration has continued collaborative efforts with various New Zealand universities through the New Zealand Embassy in Thailand and thus, recognized the opportunity to jointly upgrade and develop educational standards together through the establishment of the education centre under the banners of both institutions, aptly named Thai-New Zealand Centre (TNZC) at RMUTT Innovation and Knowledge Center, DD Mall, Chatuchak, Bangkok. And yet again, with current Covid-19 situation, this is such a great opportunity for this academic collaboration to support Thai students who wish to gain valuable experience abroad. Hopefully, we could have more collaborative efforts with various New Zealand universities.
Professor Helen Nicholson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, University of Otago revealed that not only the Joint Programme in Business Foundation Studies between Otago and RMUTT offered opportunity for Thai students, but it is also a significant milestone in the bilateral relationship between New Zealand and Thailand and a great way to enhance the standard of Thai student education.”
Business Foundation Studies Programme will open from April 30th, 2021 (Limited Seats Available)
