President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi , Assist. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art revealed that it was very fortunate that in 2019 The Educational Equity Fund (EEF) had been providing scholarships to students from very low-income families studying in vocational colleges, community colleges, RMUTT university, and other educational institutes. Thus, this year, EEF in collaboration with RMUTT has decided to conduct an academic support program designed to provide students scholarship equitably. This 8-month scholarship program administered by RMUTT provided need-based financial assistance of 15 million baht eligible to 60 educational institutes with a total of 4,700 scholarship. The aim of this Act was to assists, promote, develop and supports economically disadvantaged students with funds to cover their expenses until they complete their basic education and to receive training so that they possess knowledge and capabilities to find employment based on their aptitudes and capabilities.
