RMUTT was appointed as advisor for the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI) (Public Organization) in the Occupational Standards and Professional Qualifications Development Program to support the ASEAN community. People in related professions will be able to develop their potential and competencies. Furthermore, organizations will be able to employ people that meet their skill requirements. The program provides benefits for educational institutions as well, as they may develop courses that align with organizational needs, which may result in increased people capabilities that will allow Thailand be become more competitive. Moreover, on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016. Mr. Pongpich Tuanpusa, Vice President of RMUTT signed an agreement with a representative from each of the following associations: Thai International Freight Forwarders Association (TIFFA)’s International Transport and Business School (ITBS), Thai Transportation and Logistics Association (TTLA), and Thai Express Courier Association (TEXCA), respectively, at TK Palace Hotel and Convention on Changwattana road in Bangkok, Thailand. After the signing ceremony, RMUTT’s Vice President made an opening address by encouraging participants to brainstorm about establishing occupational standards and professional qualifications until 16:00.
