01/09/2011Enhancing staffs’ abilities for more competitive market for SMEs in 2015
Asst. Prof. Nartrapee Chaimongkol, a deputy dean in Planning and Management, the Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), said that “recently, the Faculty had collaborated with the Small and Medium-size Enterprises (SMEs), Thailand, on conducting the Personnel Development for SMEs Project aimed at producing SMEs personnel to quickly and effectively transfer knowledge to any SMEs business owners.
“The project offered two courses. The first is Marketing: Packaging for Environment Conservation and Branding for Food and Beverage Industry, and the second is Accounting: Taxation for SMEs. In this time, there were 200 interested people participating in the project. This project is aiming to enable the entrepreneurs’ abilities in product branding, packaging, accounting and financial planning for the purposes of exportation improvement and to prepare for the ASEAN Community in 2015. Preparing staffs will be benefits to promote Thai economy more competitive.”
She also added that “the faculty has responded the policy platform upon the university missions in boosting the economy by both transferring knowledge to communities and having creative education for competition. Therefore, to prepare and educate national human power for being new business owners will be more sustainably job creation and development.“
