02/10/2011Bangkok launching Bangkok Brand sent to international markets
The Deputy Bangkok Governor Malinee Sukavejworakit, M.D, revealed about the Bangkok Brand promoted under the project of Bangkok Products Promotion and Local Selling Shop Establishment at Bangkok. Here, it has been collaborated with Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT). The project was launched with the aim of promoting short-run and long-run product development in order to build the brand under the “Shopping Brand”, also preparing enterprisers in small and medium enterpriser who has passed the training and accredited by Bangkok standard to strengthen, troubleshoot and reduce the risks in their business. In addition, this would also set the concepts, methods and regulations in product selections to support international markets.
Mrs Sirikarn Wiboonwuthiwong, a teacher from RMUTT and project consultant said that after the brand has been taken in use, the team will set up the shop which firstly will be situated at Jatujak Market with 112 initiated products, such as foods, beverages, clothes and accessories, souvenirs, etc., selected from 50 districts in Bangkok metropolitan area.
