05/10/2010Winner of the excellent Image and Technique award
Mr. Taprakorn Onpathum, nick named Tang, a 4th year student majoring in the Movies and Photos Department, RMUTT, has won the ‘Excellent Image and Techniques Award’ in the short film production competition hosted by the Office of Insurance Commission in order to cultivate and increase students and youth’s awareness and ethics in insurance contracts. In the contest, one short film must be taken in 30 minutes and finished in one day.
Tang says “in my opinion, I really crazy in this film production, individually. Besides studying in the class, learners and other users must also sort out another source of information in order to develop their work. Somehow, they are also recommended to find out the successful example by searching the internet, books and others. Finally, these things will help to focus and loyal to the works. ” 96 Film Company gave him work experience together with the knowledge which he could get from the classroom. He says “when he applied for this job, he had to present his work at the company and requested work back to be done at housing.” About studying in the 4th year now, how can I divide the time to study and work? He says “in my personal ideal, I do not care much about grade average after studying. My grade is around 2.70 lower than 3.00.” A common student who had before only seen films done by the others, but now, can make by one self says “in this particular era whereas the competition world is being taken, the special talent and ability is the most important factor. Moreover, there are many people saying about the difficult film production it is. In contrast, in my opinion, the most difficult thing in my life is thing that has never been started.” “This award is the first win in my life which I have sent my works to many competition stages” he adds. Remember also “do not get stress on work which you are making it in your life as the life is uncertain, but please enjoy with you loved work at most. Finally, the success will come to you” Before leaving this article, Tang from RMUTT is another one good example student.
