05/10/2010Numyoot addresses problems of teachers’ failure to graduate after budgets allocated
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Numyoot Songthanapitak, the president of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi on behalf of the president from 9 RMUsT addresses the Suan Dusit poll who has been given to gather information of scholarship university teachers to further studying in Master’ Degree and Doctor’s Degree in order to develop more efficient scholarship allocation and solve the problems of much failure in graduation. Prof. Dr. Numyoot says “most of teachers in RMUTT who requests permission to study in further degree mostly graduate from their studying but sometimes they graduate later than due date of scholarship remark. Most of their problem is probably at their thesis and their dissertation. Moreover, in case of failure in studying, it is because of their own individual problems such as they cannot study. This must be accepted that in case of failure to study after they have been allocated budgets, but it is needed to do so in order to develop universities’ teachers”
“For the financial allocation for teachers to study in other countries, RMUTT will set serious regulations and conditions such as time and due date to properly allocate the budget in order to get higher efficiency. In addition, all subjects are mostly supported to study is not much seen in Thailand. This issue will also rise up in the next meeting of 9 presidents form 9 RMUTT in order to gather universities’ problem and figure out the proper solution for further” he says.
