Paying Attention
30/03/2011Yeah! Yeah! Welcome everyone to summer vacation that many people are waiting for after studying hard for the whole semester. And what are RMUTT teens doing. Let’s see it then.
Ms. Chutikanya Singharak, 2nd year student from Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology Major in the faculty of Mass Communication Technology, said she needs extra income to buy photographic equipments, so she works at Public Relations Division of RMUTT. She gains experience in public relations, knows more people, practice working discipline, and could bring new knowledge about photographic techniques. Most importantly, she can help her family reduce financial burdens.
Likewise, 2 freshman girls from the Tourism and Hotel Major in the faculty of Liberal Arts, Miss Kornkamon Karnchanasakha and Miss Sarocha Kritkhum, said they decides to work at Swensens. Their task is to serve, take orders, wash glasses, clean, and close the shop. They will bring their wages for the purpose of education like buying school supplies. And they want to practice communication skills because it’s good to face the real- life situation before going to work so that they will be patient and be able to solve hard problems.
Mr.Chawit Hin-ngern, 3rd year student from Multimedia Technology Major in the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology, said the faculty requires students to have trainings in this summer session. He chose to work at “Springnews” in IT sector. His duty is being an admin, looking for backoffice system, and update news on www.springnewstv.tv. His training period will last for 3 months. He will gain experiences as much as possible. After going to the workplace, he learned that it’s very different from the classroom. He has to be patient and responsible because he must wake up too early and travel from his apartment to the workplace.
Miss Nattakarn Sirisawat, 2nd year student from the Food and Nutrition Major, said she takes some courses on summer session and help her family sell crepes as well because her house is near the university. So she can bring her knowledge from what she is studying to adopt in making new formulas. Once she is good at using the formula, she will bring it to develop and fulfill her project.
These are good examples of teenagers who intend to make their free-time valuable on their vacations. If you don’t have any plan to make your time useful, find what you can do and go for it.
