Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, (RMUTT) welcomed students to apply its 19 bachelor degree programs in 8 faculties via banking system.
On the first of June, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Asst. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art revealed that with the current success of implementing lifelong learning project, the university had started out its mission as an informal education program where people who had their experience in different specific industry sectors were asked to collaborate and share their knowledge and personal experience as well as their skills to the university community.
In order for high-school students to earn their university degree, in 2019, RMUTT had made their collaborative partnership with schools across the country by establishing its CREDITS BANK system to help facilitate students by sharing practical experience and knowledge. Moreover, with successful implementation of the system, the university would be able to reskill, upskill, and new-skill Thailand’s future workforce.
Students would be able to earn their certificates and diplomas to help them successfully regulate access to the targeted industries and the EEC jobs. Should students be able to meet the university credit requirements, students would be eligible for earning Bachelor’s degree in their chosen field of study.
“For the Academic Year 2020, our university would definitely continue its life-long learning project by implementing its CREDITS BANK system to help facilitate students to successfully regulate access to the targeted Thailand’s industries as well as to develop highly skilled workforce for EEC in the digital disruption era. RMUTT comprised 8 faculties with 19 curriculum including Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hotel Management, English for Communication and Industrial Education; Bachelor of Engineering Program in Mechatronics Engineering; Bachelor of Science Program in Learning Innovation and Information Technology, Agricultural Science and Technology; Bachelor of Home Economics Program in Fashion Design and Costume Innovation, Food and Nutrition, Arts and Crafts and Early childhood education”, continued the President.
Faculty of Mass Communication Technology would include Bachelor of Technology Program in Digital Printing and Packaging Technology while Food Science and Management, Big Data Analysis and Management, Information Technology and Computer Science were included int the Faculty of Science and Technology Program.
Faculty of Architecture offered Bachelor of Architecture Program in Architecture and Interior Architecture, whereas Thai Traditional Medicine College provided two Bachelor Degree programs in Innovation of Health Products and Health and Aesthetics.
“For those participants who have completed our designated learning modules in upskilling, reskilling, and new-skilling, they would be eligible for earning their lead to high-paying jobs or better jobs. In addition, students who had the Non-Formal and Informal Education degree or equivalent could transfer three fourth of credits for enrollment into our program which leaves only one year to complete for graduation”, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art concluded.
