“RMUTT” new therapeutic policy to help expelled 2017-2018 students in Academic Year 2020

Mr. Wirat Hotrawaisaya, Acting President of Rajamagala University of Technology Thanyaburi revealed that at the moment many RMUUT students suffered from financial problems including student tuition fees and expenses in their daily life. For many years, with limited financial resources and increasing necessities of students, the university had been helping its pupils by funding student loans as well as handing student’s part-time job during their spare time in order to make use of their time responsibly and to increase their work experience. The student compensation would be based on the university official announcement of student hardship policy offered students with 300 THB daily wages had been imposed for 6 years consecutively. Recently, the university had further added another 3,000,000 baht to the student fund in order to respond to the increasing needs of student. At the same time, RMUTT had also provided special financial measure on student loan in case of financial emergency. This hardship funding according to the special measure shall not exceed 5,000 THB per student was supported by the RMUTT Golf club.
Besides, RMUTT also established its 10 million THB student health fund in accordance to the resolution of University Council meeting. This available funding was provide to help support students financially in terms of health issues and accidents. In case student’s medical expense reimbursement was over the limit, financial support of not more than 5,000 baht will be provided to students in accordance to the university’s funding measure.
Mr. Wirat also added that these different proceeding measures offered by RMUTT had been giving students financial support that were very much needed both for their studies and daily life. Thanks to the university council support, with sustainable financial status, students were able to be successful academically and professionally.
