01/08/2022Department of Aviation Service Industry, Faculty of Liberal Arts has forged an education partnership with Bangkokair Aviation Training Center (BATC) organized “Open sky Challenging Project with BATC” to provide RMUTT students with comprehensive educational and practical experience in Aviation Service Industry. Additionally, RMUTT Aviation Service students will be taught and trained by experienced professional pilots who are experts in international aviation safety standards. Assoc. Prof.
Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) revealed, “‘Open sky Challenging Project with BATC’ was developed in partnership between Department of Aviation Service Industry, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Bangkokair Aviation Training Center (BATC) to gain access to keen insights from industry professionals, as well as learn more about practical flight knowledge.
Since, the quality demand of Aviation Service Industry program from public is high, we want to find aviation specialists who are capable of training our students to become aviation professionals with the knowledge to carry out the appropriate standardized safety procedures.
Therefore, we really hope that after taking this course with BATC our students will ultimately be ready and confident for their career path in aviation, safety management in particular. This will definitely build (or have built) trust with consumers and can supply a safe travel experience. Asst. Prof.
Dr. Nisakorn Singhasenee, Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts further added, “Since aviation service industry require a diverse range of people with different characteristics and skill sets, we will prepare students for careers in the airline industry. This ‘Open Sky Challenging Project with BATC’ program held at RMUTT Innovation & Knowledge Center, 7th floor, Bangsue Junction Shopping Center (DD Mall), Bangkok and Trat Airport, located at Tambon Tasome, Ampur Khao Saming, Trat Province will focus on the academic knowledge and practical skills required to provide exceptional passenger service. Presiding at the ceremony was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) along with guests of honor, Captain AM. Dechit Charoenwong, Managing Director of Bangkok Air Aviation Training Center Co., Ltd. who gave his welcoming speech.
Dr. Nisakorn further added, “Academic collaboration between RMUTT and BATC, a subsidiary company of Bangkok Airways Public Co., Ltd. (BANGKOK AIR) – the only IATA Regional Aviation Training Partner for aviation training courses will not only help RMUTT Aviation Service students gained educational learning in university but also acquired experiential knowledge from establishments that could fulfil them theoretically and practically in terms of pursuing in-demand career opportunities in the world of Aviation Service Industry. The program forum covered topics including “From the Ground Up”, “Working Process and Responsibilities of Flight attendant, and ““Working Process and Responsibilities of Ground attendant were delivered by the experts as well,” ended Mr. Dechit.
