RMUTT is going to host the Job Fair

Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kanjanawasee, the dean of the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, presiding over the Meeting of Dean of Technical Education/ Education, Thailand (16 institutes), addressed that Prof. Dr. Suchart Thadathamrongvech, Ph.D.(Econ.) who previously acted as the Minister of Finance, should bring economical or science theory to further develop education rather than to use emotion, feeling or magic as well as allocating duties and tasks equally and properly for 2 ministers of education so that there will not be over-loaded tasks at only one person. In addition, the past project, such as the New Teacher Production project, needs to be continuously developed even though it is not politicized by this government policy, it can be renamed if preferable. However, the Meeting decided to let the new ministers of education to learn about his jobs before there will be a research result presentation concerning the Teacher Production project in each studying courses for further teacher production.”
Dean of Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornthip Chaiyaso, Kasetsart University (KU), said that “I would like Prof. Dr. Suchart to carry on the mentioned project, with any project management. Nevertheless, if this project is provided with scholarships and assured jobs, it can help encourage more people interested in being the teachers.”
Dean of Technical Education Assoc. Prof. Prasert Pinpathomrat, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), also gave an interview to the news reporter that the project of New Teacher Production politicized by this government is the right project to solve the problem of teacher lack in the education system. The new minister of education should also provide continuous and clear development plan and the future corresponding job position for forthcoming productivities. The aforementioned project, a 5-year course, is just conducted, less than 5 years; therefore, the results of the research are not completed.
“Nowadays, 5 year-course students, after studying 2 years, are confused and worried about jobs, benefits and salaries. These problems should be solved by the government, said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasert.
