29/09/2010Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm addresses about the charm of Thai Kamar, appropriate for people in every generation.
Too attracting the people’s eyes, the design of Thai kamar band in the fair of “Thailand of Art, Land of Our National Mother” which Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm, Royal Consort to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn is the president in opening ceremony and watches at “Thai Kamar Band…To World Fashion Design”. Here, there are various beautiful works having been designed by young people who participated in “Future Young Designer Contest 2010” in order to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Regent Sirikit in term of her royal work on arts and crafts.
More than 260 works designed by students and there are only 12 works from 8 universities are selected to the next round by which Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm. The selected works are such as “Crap in the Knit” by Mr. thanapol lekprasert, “BAIBUA” by Mr. Peerarat Buranrit and “Blooming of Love” by Miss Wilailak Nark-A-rayapan from Srinakarintaraviroj University, “Development of Child” by Miss Patpitchaya Ausawawityotha and “My Famer My Mom” by Mr. Panupat Sawanghom from Dhurakit Bandit University, (Relationship of Love or Sai Yai Rak) by Mr. Boworn Chomchin from Rangsit University, “Warmth Of Donor” by Mr. Natthanan Ngampisit
from Thammasat University, “Something Good,Something Bad, But I Love You Always” by Miss thanissara Mahakittikun from Chulalongkorn University, “The Active” by Mr. Kreangdaj Lahdee from Bangkok University, “Miracle of Love” (mixture of Mauhom shirt and Thai kamar band) by Mr. Wasin Lertsitikul and “Sporty on Street” by Mr. Supachai Tuiemsak from Kasem Bundit University and “Relationship of Love on the Clothes or Sai yai rak Bon Peurnpah” by Mr. Sarawut thongprasert from Rajamangala University of technology Thanyaburi.
Mr. pitchjak payakaranon, the designer of Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm said that, every steps of working these works which were designed and produced by students are seen by Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm. Moreover, Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm also mentions to have adaptation of these works to be suitable for people in every generation. Some of them will be taken to be on sale and display because Kamar band is another type of fabrics which is also charm to who have seen. Student might be able to add their value of works by using woven hand textile from The Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand 904.
