On April 27, 2022, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding with Chaokuai Cha Kangrao Company Limited. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, the President of RMUTT, signed the agreement to promote the “Ethics and Morality Lead Education” project with Dr. Chalermwut Suwanroj, Chairman of the Board of Chaokuai Cha Kangrao Company Limited, with Assoc. Prof. Dr.Krischonme Bhumkittipich, and Mr. Piroj Palapon as witnesses in the Rattanubon Conference Room at RMUTT.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of RMUTT, revealed that the “Ethics and Morality Lead Education” project represents the establishment of cooperation between educational institutions and Chaokuai Cha Kangrao Company Limited, including staff and students, to promote a sense of good conscious. Both parties are eager to support the faculty and students of RMUTT to possess ethics and morality, and the ability to think, analyze, and apply various knowledge in leading a happy life in society, and to be good citizens of the nation.
On the part of Dr. Chalermwut Suwanroj, Chairman of the Board of Chaokuai Cha Kangrao Company Limited, it was expressed that to develop the nation and people into good citizens of society, the “Ethics and Morality Lead Education” project was established to develop staff and students’ love and faith in the nation, religion, and the monarchy. This project aims to create awareness for the university staff and students to have ethics and morality; to be grateful to parents, teachers, society, community, and country; to promote and develop understanding of the Five Precepts; and to practice as Buddhists with good cultural manners, volunteer spirit, knowledge related to religious ceremonies and to be able to apply such knowledge and skills in living within the community appropriately. The duration of the agreement is three years.
