04/10/2010Book Donation at nine temples helps create charisma and intelligence
Assistant Professor Dr. Numyoot Songthanapitak, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, revealed in the occasion of 82-year His Majesty cerebration that the project namely “Book Donation at Nine Temples” was conducted by aiming to cerebrate His Majesty the King. The usable books which have been donated to monks are accounted as the most merit creation and it also inherits the respectful Buddhist activities as well as it can help promote the reading for monks. As a part of Buddhist, students must be realizing on charisma and intelligence both in secular and religious world.
Provost Opas Pariyakit, a preacher at Wat Khain Khet, Klong 4, Pathumthani told that “it is very precious to conduct this project because books defining as the useful sources comprise with much valued knowledge. As the preacher who has to teach students both internal and external temple school, knowledge collection is as the most importance”. He ended that “Education with moral is necessary for career”.
“Aud” Mr. Wanchai Rattanaporn, president of Buddhist Club who is studying in the 3rd year from Department of Textiles and Clothing, Faculty of Home Economics Technology, portrayed that more than 16 years that this club has offered many useful activities such as fish releases, meditation in every Tuesday evening and others. Here, there are totally 500 club members participating. Project named “Book Donation at Nine Temples” is another activity which was conducted in order to confer to His majesty and as Buddhist, it is looked that the book donation is accounted as the most merit establishment because the monks can benefit from them and deliver thier knowledge and moral to other people further.
Finally, Mr. Sutipong Kangking, Committee Member and the 2nd year student from Department of Computer Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology told that this activity is so useful to be conducted that some student who has never entered to the temple will benefit from this opportunity. Furthermore, this activity establishment is another mean to create students’ mind awareness to conserve and maintain the Buddhist institute which is the main national religion.
