RMUTT establishing the Center of Drug and Intoxicant Complaint

Assoc. Prof. Sujira Khojitmate, the Assistant to the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), said that drugs and all vices are the crucial problems having negative effects to the nation especially the students. Therefore, to prevent an evil situation happening to the students, the University has established the Center of Drug and Intoxicant Complaint. The main objective is to be a middle communication channel between inside and outside the university and then to record and to inspect for accuracy of received information. The committee consists with the Dean Deputy from the Faculties, representatives from the Public Health Offices from Thanyaburi and Klong Luang districts, representative from the Excise Department of Pathumthani, the President of Klong Hok Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the Mayor of Town Municipality, inspectors of Thanyaburi and Klong 5 subdistricts, Pathumthani Provincial Culture Office, the Office of Social Development and Human Security (Pathumthani) and the President of the Private Accommodation Club. Courteously, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Numyoot Songthanapitak, the President of the University, and other experts have accepted the invitation of being honorable consultants for the Center and Mr. Virat Hotrawisaya, the Vice President of the University, is invited to be the Chairman of the Club.
