Helping flood victims
19/12/2011Mr. Pongsak Thongpranam, a teacher from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, RMUTT, said that the flood situation in Thailand is continuously more severe. However, this situation is unavoidable; eating foods is still under control. For the purposes of food safety, any aid supplies are required to inspect if date is expired, cans are damaged and foods are whiffy and its color evolves or not. Well-cooked foods also are necessary to prevent any spread of microorganisms. In cases of insufficient drinking water, the drinkers can boil water at 100 degrees Celsius, cooling down, waiting for sedimentation and using upper water for the drink.
