Associate Professor Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT Rangsit), disclosed that on the occasion of RMUTT Rangsit’s 49th anniversary, major activities were organized on February 27, 2024. These activities included bringing together administrators, faculty members, staff, students, and nearby residents for a merit-making ceremony involving the offering of dried food and rice to 50 monks, held at the Songthanapithak Meeting Room in the Office of the President building at RMUTT Rangsit, Pathum Thani Province.

The activities organized for this 49th anniversary received enthusiastic cooperation and participation from staff and various stakeholders, thereby helping to boost morale and motivation in education and work. This effort enhances the quality of life and work for everyone at RMUTT Rangsit, irrespective of age. At the same time, these activities also support sustainable development goals related to health and well-being. The President of RMUTT Thayaburi further mentioned that February 27 is a significant day for the Thai education system, especially for vocational and professional education, as it marks the “Establishment Day of the College of Technology and Vocational Education,” now known as Rajamangala University of Technology (with 9 campuses nationwide). With RMUTT Thanyaburi ‘s 49 years of steadfastness, it is hoped that the university will continue to gain trust, interest, and support from all sectors to help advance its mission of being a university of innovation for sustainability. This aims to promote quality learning and education. “May everyone step into the 50th year with happiness,” wishing RMUTT Thanyaburi five decades of continued success.
