Alms-Giving Ceremony on the Occasion of the 49th Anniversary of RMUTT

RMUTT organized activities in celebration of its 49th anniversary to boost the morale of students and staff of all ages. Associate Professor Dr. Sommai Pivsa-at, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), disclosed that on the occasion of the 49th anniversary, a significant event was held on February 27, 2024. This event saw participation from university executives, faculty members, staff, students, and nearby residents in making alms offerings of dry food to 50 monks at the Songthanapithak Seminar Room, Office of the President, RMUTT, Pathum Thani.

This anniversary event received wholehearted cooperation, faith, and participation from personnel and involved parties. It is expected to boost morale and provide inspiration in both education and work, thereby promoting good careers and lives for everyone at RMUTT across all age groups. The activity also supports sustainable development goals related to health and well-being.

The President of RMUTT further remarked that February 27 marks another significant day in the Thai education system, particularly in vocational and professional education, as it is the “Founding Day of the Institute of Technology and Vocational Education,” now known as Rajamangala University of Technology (with 9 campuses across the country). With RMUTT’s enduring strength over the past 49 years, it is hoped that the institution will continue to receive trust, interest, and support from all sectors to collaborate in making RMUTT a university of innovation for sustainability, enhancing quality education and learning.
