Located in Mueang district of Pathum Thani province, Wat San Chao River Market is a small-but-stunning market has been renowned for its riverside scenery for several years. Here you can find a plethora of street vendors serving up a variety of delightful and popular Thai dishes and drinks including ‘Chive Dumplings’, ‘Steamed Fish with Curry Paste’, ‘Mini Fried Mussels in Batter’, and ‘Palm Juice’. Auspicious Thai traditional desserts are also often found at the market, such as ‘Traditional Thai Grilled Bananas’ on bamboo stick, ‘Traditional Thai Khao Chae’, ‘Toddy Palm in Syrup’, ‘Thai Pudding with Coconut Topping’, ‘Mung Bean Dumplings’, ‘Pounded Unripe Rice Flakes Cereal’, and ‘Sweet Stuffed Dough’. The popular deep-fried snacks in traditional Thai food (e.g. fried fish pancake, crispy fried bananas, crispy fried potato and crispy fried taro) and a variety of fruits and beverages are also found. Situated at Wat San Chao Temple, Mueang district, Pathum Thani province, Wat San Chao River Market is open on weekends and Thailand’s Official Holidays from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
