Stop violence, build unity through GD4+1 process, welcome all new RMUTT students

“Oh baby R-Rajamangala,M-Our university ,U-University,T-Technology ,T-Thanyaburi,Could you help me?Want to be in love ,When I’m in love ,My heart will sing a song “RMUTT” “.This lyrics were adapted from the song called “Love” and becomes the song “Oh-baby RMUTT” by the recreation club.It is prepared for upcoming freshy welcoming activities this year under the name “Bua Sawan San Sampan 2010” (Building up the relationships between us at RMUTT).Now,you might want to know  what it’s like.Let’s see then,

Mr.Choke-anun Raksapakdee (Choke),4th-year student,The faculty of Business Administration ,major in International Business who works as the vice-president for RMUTT students club,said that,for the 7th upcoming freshy welcoming activities ,we have prepared good activities creatively  in accordant with the university policies.We also have the making merit ceremony by presenting food to 99 monks which this is believed as the good things will come to their lives in the future .We do for all students at a time ,not separate into each faculty.The advantage is to help them know  each other,no matter where they are from,just one unity at RMUTT.

This GD4+1 process focuses on working as a team which consists of (1)Ice Breaking ,stop behaving as they used to do for a while, think what they are doing.(2)Humanication-build up the relationships ,think that we are the same.They will feel relax and start to talk to each other,more reliable.(3) Creation-creative thinking.To encourage them to show their opinions and also listen to the team members(4)Brain-storming-every member of a team reflects their thinking or ideas to other members and find out the conclusion.(5)Evaluation-to evaluate the success of process in each working step.

Mr.Natthakarn Kaewkao,4th-year student,the faculty of Fine and Applied Arts ,major in Product Design who works as the president of recreation club said that,now this club pays an important role in the freshy welcoming activities ,to create good activities vary to the concepts such as theme songs,dancing,etc.We believe that the theme song is vital for their fun,therefore it is necessary to chose the best song as we can.

Mr.Atthapol Saekim,The faculty of Business Administration,International Programme,told that these welcoming activities are count as the custom between new students and current students which can be changed up to current situation .This year ,we do for whole students to enhance the unity .As before,this kind of activity was always speculated closely by other people but we insist that we do in the good way,no violence.However,we can not control every senior students to behave properly,depends on themselves.Hopefully,they will do so.

Mr.Pisut Sombut,3rd –year student,The faculty of Architecture ,Major in Architecture Technology ,explained that this freshy welcoming activities  are under the policies to stop violence which can be occurred during the activities .We do not want to hear more about that .Again ,we will follow the creative way of thinking from now to the future.

The same as “UM”,Miss Jiranan Putthasuwan and “Pla” Miss Or-rachat Chatrangsrikul,3rd year students,The faculty of  Liberal of Arts ,major in English for International Communications said that the style of welcoming activities has been changed ,new students will take part in the creative activities with us to celebrate themselves at RMUTT.

“Bua Sawan San Sampan 2010” has been changed from the past to new creative thinking process,no dividing in each faculty and department,just one unity at RMUTT,feeling proud to become a part of us.The most important thing is to enhance the unity between new students and current students ,The vice-president of RMUTT students club said.
