Professor Dr. Kritchon Phumikitiphat, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), presided over the meeting and signed the intellectual property licensing agreement between RMUTT and Mr. Chaiyan Sirikul, Managing Director of Winsyn Technology Co., Ltd. The event took place on December 23, 2024, in the Mangkala Ubon Meeting Room at RMUTT. The research work covered in the agreement, consisting of six items, is authored by Associate Professor Dr. Varinthorn Poonsri from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
Associate Professor Dr. Kiattisak Sangpradit, Director of the Institute of Research and Development at RMUTT, stated that the university has been showcasing their intellectual property-protected research at exhibitions designed to promote the commercial use of such research, such as the Thailand Tech Show 2025. This event is organized by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, and is held annually. The exhibition features immediately applicable research from government and private research agencies, educational institutions from across the country, in a technology market format where buyers meet sellers, supporting technology business and tech startups. It also serves as a platform for new investment connections and suitable funding sources to expedite the creation of innovations and market expansion for technology businesses.
Winsyn Technology Co., Ltd. has expressed interest in acquiring licenses for six intellectual property-protected innovations, which have been protected by the Intellectual Property Department of the Ministry of Commerce. These include: 1.) Banana flattening machine 2.) Banana pressing machine 3.) Thin banana sheet press machine 4.) Meat pressing machine 5.) Meat compressing machine, and 6.) Sorting machine. All six inventions are credited to Associate Professor Dr. Warinthorn Poolsri from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
It is hoped that the research by faculty and students of the university will continue to be commercially expanded and contribute to sustainable improvements in quality of life.
