Announcement!!!! Short-term Training Course for the General Public “Architectural Woodworking Fundamental Course” Batch 2
21/05/2024RMUTT students and faculty have excelled by winning four awards in the Upper Central Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education network.
Assistant Professor Dr. Surin Haeng-ngam, Director of the Cooperative Education Office at RMUTT, revealed that the university participated in the 2024 Upper Central CWIE network cooperative education and work-integrated learning competition. Hosted by Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, the competition included participants from 15 educational institutions, with RMUTT submitting 11 entries in total. RMUTT secured four awards:
1. Second Runner-Up in Social Sciences, Humanities, and Management: “Enhancing Process Efficiency of the Delivery and Handover Department using Simulation Software – Case Study of 7-Eleven Chokchai Ruammit Distribution Center” by Ms. Supalak Thaokaew.
2. Honorable Mention in the International category: “Development of the Data Acquisition System for Environmental Data Using IoT Devices” by Mr. Nopparut Pohgtulee, Mr. Paravee Prakob, and Mr. Thanis Saklueknan.
3. Outstanding Cooperative Education Coordinator and Work-Integrated Learning in Business: Mr. Sarit Surakul from Hilton Pattaya, nominated by RMUTT.
4. Outstanding Large Enterprise in Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Learning: Banyan Tree Bangkok, nominated by RMUTT.
The Director of RMUTT’s Cooperative Education Office also mentioned that the Upper Central CWIE network emphasizes and supports competency-based learning programs. These programs allow students to gain real-world experience, aligning with the policies and directions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI). The Ministry encourages higher education institutions to offer cooperative and work-integrated education (CWIE) to ensure that students possess the competencies needed to enter the real working world immediately after graduation, a collaborative effort between higher education institutions and business establishments has been organized through the aforementioned competition. The aim is to promote, disseminate, and motivate all sectors to effectively engage in cooperative education and work-integrated learning. This not only enhances the readiness of students to undertake cooperative education and work-integrated learning placements but also provides exemplary models for their peers and indicates their preparedness to seamlessly transition into the job market with skills that meet the demands of the industry. Furthermore, these efforts support current professional development and prepare students for future roles.
