03/11/2023The Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) has received international accolades from ASIC-UK, England, recognizing its excellence in student care and entrepreneurial education at the ASIC Annual Conference & Award 2023 in Dubai, UAE. Associate Professor Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of RMUTT, stated that the university was invited to participate in the “ASIC Annual Conference & Award Dubai 25-26 October 2023 Impact & Outcomes: The Power of Quality in International Education” held in Dubai, UAE. RMUTT sent a relevant delegation led by Associate Professor Dr. Boonyang Plangklang, Assistant to the President, along with Associate Professor Dr. Amnuay Ruangaree, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Associate Professor Dr. Boonthida Ueapitakunakorn, Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Nachatpong Uttong, Director of the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration, and Associate Professor Dr. Parinya Meesook, Assistant Director of the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration.
The President of RMUTT further mentioned that during the ASIC Annual Conference & Award 2023, RMUTT received two major international awards. Associate Professor Dr. Boonyang Plangklang, Assistant to the President, accepted the awards on the university’s behalf. The first award, Entrepreneurship in Education, recognizes RMUTT’s innovative approach to fostering entrepreneurial qualities among its students. The second award, Duty of Care to Students, highlights RMUTT’s excellent policies and practices in student care across various aspects. These awards are the result of RMUTT’s intensive, continuous efforts and the collective collaboration of all involved parties.
Associate Professor Dr. Boonyang Plangklang, Assistant to the President, stated that RMUTT was also invited to present its international achievements in educational management aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a session titled “University’s Role in the Community: Implementation of Research and Hands-On Education.” The presentation was delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Boonthida Ueapitakunakorn, Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, to an audience that included leading universities and representatives from the United Nations. RMUTT’s initiatives in producing practical graduates, graduates’ employment rates, integrating learning with activities, and the lifelong learning project through the credit bank system garnered significant interest and praise.
