As the government has issued a policy to advance Thailand towards Thailand 4.0, all universities had to adapt to meet the policy’s requirements. Hence, RMUTT’s Faculty of Business Administration have created an atmosphere to enhance learning potential and prepare people to become entrepreneurs and make economic and social contributions.
Asst. Prof. Nartrapee Chaimongkol, Associate Dean of Administration and Planning in RMUTT’s Faculty of Business Administration said that business management is a prominent issue, relevant to everyday life, and affects all professions. Currently, there has been a large emphasis on digital marketing and capturing market trends. Subsequently, the Faculty of Business Administration have adapted, in order to develop students that can improve businesses and society, especially in terms of environmental impacts.
“I agree that almost all universities offer business courses, but RMUTT’s business management courses have been offered for 41 years, with over 100 professors and an 80% employment rate after graduation, with a portion of students pursuing higher education. Furthermore, RMUTT’s business courses are up-to-date and align with the government’s policies. To bolster students to become SME entrepreneurs, RMUTT has built a laboratory to allow undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate students to become more hands-on and practice their skills” said Asst. Prof. Nartrapee Chaimongkol.
Mrs. Tharitsaya Kongkaew, Prof. of Accounting and Finance in RMUTT’s Faculty of Business Administration said that “investing in the course is a good opportunity to encourage students to consider investing in capital markets. If investors have investment principles and supporting technology, investment risks would decrease, and consequently, lead to a rise in return on investment (ROI). Moreover, competencies a good entrepreneur should possess include business acumen, courage, innovative thinking, adaptability, and regularly finding new investment channels to generate sufficient returns.”
Ms. Pornmawan (Fang) Romworapol, a 4th year RMUTT Finance student said that the course is modern, up-to-date, and enables her to learn more, which will be useful in applications to the workplace. The class also focuses on entrepreneurship as well.
Mr. Theerawat Suaysom, a 4th year RMUTT Finance student revealed that he felt ready in various aspects. He also gained knowledge about SAP and Bisnews programs, which may enhance operational efficiency, shorten his learning curve, resulting in demonstrated readiness and potential as well as work opportunities immediately after graduation.
“RMUTT Board of Management’s directions are clear and align with the government’s policies to advance Thailand towards Thailand 4.0, particularly in the areas of SMEs and digital marketing, to produce quality graduates that are ready to become entrepreneurs” said Asst. Prof. Nartrapee Chaimongkol.
