11/11/2024RMUTT Thanyaburi Renewed Membership of UNESCO’s UNEVOC Network for 2024-2027 to Enhance Vocational Education for Sustainable Development
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, Acting President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), revealed that RMUTT has had its membership status in the UNEVOC Network renewed by UNESCO-UNEVOC for the period 2024-2027. This renewal affirms the university’s commitment to the ongoing development of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system. At the same time, RMUTT’s clear and continuous activities align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the area of quality education, the promotion of inclusive employment, economic growth, and sustainable production and consumption.
The certification was signed by Mr. Friedrich Huebler, Head of UNESCO-UNEVOC, and Mr. Olivier Pièume, Head of the UNEVOC Network Secretariat team. RMUTT will remain part of the global network to further drive vocational education with a crucial role in building a sustainable future.
This membership renewal results from the dedication and active efforts of all sectors, especially the Faculty of Industrial Education, which has played a leading role in the commitment to continuously improve curricula and training programs, aiming to be part of building a stable and sustainable future for the world.
