08/05/2024Asst. Prof. Dr. Ratchumpho Phan and Asst. Prof. Chaisit Phanthupoochinda, faculty members of the Faculty of Home Economics Technology, participated in the filming of the show “Khrua Khun Toi” to elevate “Khanom Thuai Muang Pathum” – a Thai dessert with lotus flowers from Tuang Luang Rangsit. This dessert is a minimal Thai dessert developed from rice from Tuang Luang Rangsit, using top-quality ingredients from around Thailand such as flour from Tuang Luang Rangsit, Pathum Thani, sugar from natural trees in Nakhon Si Thammarat, and coconuts from Thap Sakae, Prachuap Khiri Khan, by Ban Khanom Musik of Khun Nalinnat Musika (Phee Ta). The aim is to create sustainability along with the cultural heritage value of the Tuang Luang Rangsit area, a significant area long used for rice cultivation, to increase its value through value creation (Value Creation to Value Added).
