” Jam Silp” Thesis Exhibition, Department of Design Arts and Technology, RMUTT

Thesis Exhibition of students from the Department of Design Arts and Technology, Faculty of Fine Arts, Academic Year 2023, under the concept “Jam Silp,” showcases the knowledge acquired through studies via various design thesis works.

The exhibition is welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Manoj Boonthonglek, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, with Mrs. Rabiabrat Pongpanich, a Thai politician and social worker and former senator of Khon Kaen province, as the guest of honor at the opening ceremony at the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Auditorium.

Assistant Professor Dr. Manoj Boonthonglek, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, revealed that the works displayed are by 4th-year students from the fields of Visual Communication Design, Product Design, Interior Design, and Innovative Contemporary Product Design. These works exemplify the knowledge acquired throughout their four years of study. “Jam Silp,” the remembrance of art crafted from individual creativity, showcases work created using new techniques for the public to appreciate. Some pieces can also be further developed commercially.
Ms. Patitta Chanoporn, the student president of the Department of Design Arts and Technology, Faculty of Fine Arts, for the academic year 2023, explained that this event was made possible through the cooperation of students from the Department of Design Arts and Technology. It showcases the potential and study outcomes of the students. The works are the result of each individual’s accumulated ideas throughout their learning period, reflecting their unique personalities. The “Jam Silp” thesis exhibition of students from the Department of Design Arts and Technology, Faculty of Fine Arts, for the academic year 2023, is displayed from today until March 29, 2024, at the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Auditorium.
