05/10/2010Ganesha and Thai Elephant exhibition is open
Mr. Nissai Vejjajiva and Mr. Pitak Larb Prattana had participated and presided over Ganesha and Thai Elephants which belongs to Mr. Charoen Mabutra. This exhibition is hosted by Amari Water Gate, Bangkok on the 3rd floor of the hotel and some of the proceeds gained by this exhibition will be donated to Chai Ngam temple, Kampangpet province.
Mr. Charoen Mabutra was interested in art since he was a child. He was starving to draw any picture which he could see. From that, he became more inspired until he completed his bachelor’ degree with the 2nd class honor from the Fine and Applied Arts Faculty, (RMUTT). After that, his way to be an artist become more explicit and he passed his work with many awards and displays. The most impressed exhibition display is at Pha Buddha Ratanasathan, Grand Palace.
His first display, Ganesha and Thai Elephant, is one of 50 year-classic pictures which the artists have spent for 2 years working on. The story of Thai Elephant representing the original Thai country and work and Ganesha represents goddess of success. These can be mentioned as the respect of artists.
Ganesha and Thai Elephant exhibition is aiming to present the mixture of Thai classic, to develop and to inherit Thai classical arts in order to propagate to new generation.
