19/10/2022RMUTT constructs a Suvarnabhumi Value Enhancement Centroid and BCG Innopolitan Center to convert ideas and creativity into action, promoting community and society connections for enhancing economic growth using Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) model. President of RMUTT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art revealed, “RMUTT emphasizes its management policy on development of economics, society, and community based on Bio-Circular-Green Economy model. We decided to find a location where people could share ideas and creativity and turn them into action and thus, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a Suvarnabhumi Value Enhancement Centroid construction was signed. Based on BCG model, RMUTT had been making great progress in innovations, product development between community and university under U2T project and currently RMUTT in collaboration with Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) and Tala Bang Kla Resort jointly opened Suvarnabhumi Value Enhancement Centroid and RMUTT’s BCG Innopolitan Center at Tala Bang Kla Resort, Bang Kla District, Chachoeng Sao province. Presiding over the opening ceremony was Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) along with Associate Dr. Somjate Tinnapong, as a member of RMUTT University Council Committee, and executive members, faculty members and RMUTT university staffs. Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) added, “It has been a great day for me to pay a visit, share and exchange knowledge and ideas, here at Tala Bang Kla Resort in Chachoengsao. This place is a great example for all of us to share our innovative ideas on Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) model and lately Suvarnabhumi Value Enhancement has been linked to this place. I would say every single space here could give you the true reflection of BCG model.
At the same, two universities have taken this place as an area for exchanging and integrating knowledge based on Economics, Community, and Society. Hopefully, this place would be a jumpstart for creating economic values while innovation and technology will be integrated with culture benefiting community networks in terms of new and powerful product and service presentation.
Suvarnabhumi Value Enhancement Centroid and BCG Innopolitan Center are constructed under the concept of developing sustainable landscapes that balance the requirements of nature based on BCG model. The Center is considered as a social lab addressing complex ground-breaking social challenges on a systemic level available for students, faculty of members. Hopefully we could integrate the value of culture into sustainable industries. In addition, academic exhibitions and trade shows will be offered to students and university researchers from different RMUTT’s Faculties to collaborate with local communities including Home Economics Technology, Agricultural Technology, Fine Arts, Integrated Medicine, Engineering, and Architecture. Confidently, RMUTT would be able to create innovations that could benefit society as a whole aligning with the holistic approach of ‘Strength, Balance, and Sustainability,” concluded President of RMUTT.
