04/10/2010Introducing to Volunteers Call No. 1165, first volunteer generation of Thailand
04/10/2010Recently, Masato Kotani, a board committee of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. and Ms. Suwannee Ajhannarong, a deputy of dean, Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Rajamnagla University of Technology Thanyaburi, RMUTT, has conducted activity named “Umami: Get to know me” at the RMUTT Meeting Hall, working cooperatively with Umami Information Center or UlC from Japan which it is established by the industry association in Japan aiming to publicize the knowledge about Umami. The activity conducted at this time is aiming to increase knowledge about Umami which is the basic taste being for 100 years long time ago.
The highlight of this activity is an openness of Umami taste such as tamato, soup and so forth, by Mr. Pon Tuntasatien, a celebrity chef. Moreover, there is a Umami presentor, Ms Yamasaki, giving an presentation of more than 100 years of Umami including question and answer about the foods together with others gust speakers. Here, there are more than 900 students and teachers participating in this activity. These people also join and fun with “Umami Lovers” facebook.
