9 RMUTs get themselves ready to meet the needs of World Leading Quality Assurance Service in Higher Education

Rangsit – Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) in partnership with the 8 Rajamangala Universities of Technology, held a seminar at Novotel Bangkok, Future Park Rangsit, Pathum Thani on the topic “Promoting the development of quality assurance of RMUTs to meet the international standard”. The purpose of this seminar is to fulfill the RMUTs needs of maintaining and improving their education quality, equity, and efficiency in order to meet the international education standards. On behalf of the Chairman of RMUTs Board of Presidents and the driving force behind this meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) revealed, “Recently, the 9 RMUTs including Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi          , Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, collaboratively organized the seminar which was presided over by Prof. Sirirurg Songsivilai, M.D., Ph.D Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). Not only did the universities’ presidents, vice-presidents, directors of international strategy divisions, so did the the notable keynote speakers who delivered their special talks on quality assurance in education in this special occasion. The president of RMUTT further explained the purposes of initiating this seminar, “All the 9 RMUTs had attempted to promote the development of quality assurance in their institutions which is in line with MHESI policies.  Developing strong quality assurance systems is vital to support high-quality education in all 9 RMUTs. It is also significant for all RMUTs to improve their QS Stars Rating, QS ASIA RANKING and TIME HIGHER EDUCATION IMPACT RANKING. These ratings would help identify what universities are the best in the specific topics including research, academic contribution, student professional opportunity, international affairs, facilities, innovation and social responsibilities. Hopefully, through this international seminar, we would be able to get ourselves ready for meeting the needs of World Leading Quality Assurance Service in Higher Education,” president ended.
