RMUTT, A Closer Step to DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ERA with DIGITAL TRANSCRIPT

    Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) revealed that RMUTT was currently rolling out digital transcripts in an Adobe PDF format containing official academic results of students as it moves towards creating a secure digital transcript using digital signatures.

    The digital PDF record would be signed with digital signatures in compliance with the international standards and legal frameworks with time reference. The record also included further safety features to ensure that the documents were original, correct, and performed security check through website without crossed check with the university. In addition, extra information could be added into this smart digital transcript in an Adobe PDF XML format or even exchanged with the student affiliation in order to verify, access, and download them as soon as possible.

        This Digital Transcript will provide students with more efficient and timely processing and fulfillment and definitely less work and less expenses for university faculties and affiliations. Additionally, these digital documents could be crossed check online with lesser time and fees. Right now,  students are able to request for the document in two ways 1) Paper Transcript and Digital Transcript      

    The purpose of document type requests depends on how students want to use for submission. Students could choose both methods of request at the same time through academic record system of the university.     

    The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation joins hand with Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization) (DGA), Electronic Transactions Development Agency, and Office of the Public Sector Development Commission. (OPDC) to award certificate of achievement to Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi in recognition of transforming document management system to digital management system for more than a year that is in compliance with the government policy of Digital Transformation B+.
