The exhibition project for thesis works by students from the Department of Design and Technology, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, for the academic year 2023, is themed “Jam Silp” (Remembering Art). The works reflect a diverse range of concepts through design thesis projects. The exhibition was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Manoch Boonthonglek, Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts. The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Rabiabrat Pongpanich, a prominent Thai politician and social welfare advocate, and former Senator from Khon Kaen Province, held at the auditorium of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. Assistant Professor Dr. Manoch Boonthonglek explained that the exhibition features works of fourth-year students from various design fields: graphic design, product design, interior design, and contemporary product design innovation. These works embody the knowledge and creativity developed over four years of study. “Jam Silp” signifies remembering and creating unique, personalized art using innovative techniques for public display. Some pieces hold potential for commercial application. Ms. Pathitta Chanokorn, the student president for the Department of Design and Technology for the academic year 2023, shared that this event is a collaborative effort of design and technology students. It signifies their capabilities and the culmination of their academic journey, showcasing individual creative concepts developed throughout their studies.

The “Jam Silp” thesis exhibition is open from today until March 29, 2024, at the auditorium of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.
