RMUTT provides intensive preparation courses in Math and English
Associate Professor Siam Dumprida,the dean of the faculty of Liberal Arts ,Rajamagala University of Technology Thanyaburi(RMUTT) provides the intensive preparation courses in English and Math for new undergraduate students in academic year 2010.The faculty of Liberal Arts is responsible for teaching English .
According to the circumstance of coming 7,000 students,found that about 30% could not achieve the score standard .Hence, these students have to take English preparation course,by full –time programme about 879 students ,part-time programme about 184 students.This will focus on Grammatical English to support their studies in English 1-2 which are the core modules .From the statistic ,many students failed in these two every year.
Hereby,RMUTT provides intensive preparation courses for students .In previous academic year could help students passed English Modules more than 80%.
Assistant Professor.Dr.Sommai Piew sa-Art ,the dean of the faculty of Science and Technology said that our faculty take responsibility in Math .By this, the office of Academic Promotion and Registration selected students who need to take the intensive preparation courses for 10 days.From previous year ,those students had development in learning Math,and also less failing in Math.
