19/02/2018RMUTT Organizes 2018 Job Fair with Companies Recruiting a Total of 8,000 Graduates
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasert Pinprathomrat, RMUTT President said that the university has organized a job fair in cooperation with the Pathumthani Employee Office, DK 2 PLUS Co., Ltd., and RMUTT’s Department of Student Development, as it recognizes the importance of students’ careers, which are critical to the development of the country.
RMUTT organizes a job fair every year and invites both government agencies and private companies to set up booths to recruit graduates. This year’s job fair has been well received as more than 80 companies have participated and are recruiting a total of more than 8,000 graduates. This year RMUTT has also organized sessions with companies to understand the university management’s policies and directions as there have been numerous changes.
Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasert Pinprathomrat added that the job fair is beneficial for students as they will be able to apply for jobs directly related to their major and will have the opportunity to interview and exchange ideas with various companies. Students will be exposed to new ways of thinking, which can be applied for self-development to meet companies’ needs. Also, most companies today do not merely seek for graduates that excel academically. Graduates should also be able to continuously develop themselves in terms of efficiently collaborating with others, being accountable for their work, and effectively knowing how to apply their knowledge to various work situations.
“The 2018 job fair is also a good opportunity for those that live around the area, and I would like to thank all the companies that have trusted us and collaborated with us in organizing this job fair; I hope that we will be able to collaborate again soon” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasert Pinprathomrat. Those that are interested and would like more information may call 02-549-3024-5 or visit www.rmutt.ac.th
