Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi works in collaboration with the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Chachoengsao Province, Prachinburi Province and Nakhon Nayok Province to organize educational activities (OTOP Sanjorn) or OTOP mobile activities to provide and broaden on giving a boost on OTOP products with science, technology and innovation. The event was held in Prachinburi, Nakhon Nayok and Chachoengsao from November 6th to 7th, 2019 at Sunthara Wellness Resort and Hotel, Chachoengsao Province.
In the event, Deputy Governor of Chachoengsao Province, Mr. Prasong Kongkaoroptham was honored to give his welcoming speech to the working group and described the professional development and livelihood of the people in the area. He also further mentioned that the issue was very crucial and yet the province has always been emphasizing on tacking the problem particularly on their Income. Besides, agricultural and industrial development, the province had also helped promote and support the local entrepreneurs to produce OTOP products by adding product values to increase their income and thus, the development of OTOP products through innovation was focused. So as to achieve distributing tourism based-product, the items were created based on the interpretation of local charm, wisdom, way of life, and culture that could eventually turned into income. Through this way, strengthening of community financial status and creating true foundation of economic development could be truly achieved.
Additionally, the opening ceremony which was honored by Chief Inspector of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Mr. Permsuk Sajjapiwat as the chairman of the event revealed that having an integrated plan to lay its foundation on economic development, the Thai government decided to collaborate with university by integrating knowledge of science, technology and innovation with research studies that would be beneficial for further development of innovation and for the assistance of improving OTOP product quality for the entrepreneurs that meet the required quality standards that comply with Thai laws and regulations. Moreover, the product innovation development should also be helping entrepreneurs manufacture products that not only meet domestic market requirements but also international ones. The main focus of developing product quality with science, technology and innovation would be based on the three provinces including Chachoengsao, Prachinburi and Nakhon Nayok Province
The Clinic Technology Network of RMUTT under the Research and Development Council of RMUTT led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Warunee Ariyawiriyanan, Director of Research and Development Institute and Dr. Chanai Noisaeng, Deputy Director of Research and Development Institute together with team members were assigned by Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) to organize activities and exhibitions in coordination with MHESI.
As part of a prestigious educational institution with a primary mission and requirement to conduct researches and inventions for the benefits of the society as a whole, more than 80 representatives of RMUTT honorable lecturers and researchers had joined their efforts to integrate their knowledge of product innovation, product packaging, and machinery design and distribute them to more than 200 entrepreneurs that could meet product need of the market.
