RMUTT is widely regarded as a premier university providing highly skilled science and technology professionals to all industries across the country. The university has a strong track record of collaborating with various companies and enterprises to offer students opportunities to gain hands-on work experience through work-integrated learning programs that typically last anywhere from 4 to 12 months to equip students with modern skills for future employment.
RMUTT has developed a unique Credit Bank system offering diverse learning experiences for learners, not only on-campus study but also on-the-job training or others. Our aim is to help students and workers earn degrees by transferring credits gained through training, professional certifications, and other non-traditional forms of education. This would enable people worldwide to complete their degrees more quickly and efficiently, while providing them with more flexibility and choice regarding how they acquire the necessary credits.
Currently, new technologies and modern vehicles with electric engines are being developed. BYD Auto Co., Ltd. is one of the leading companies in the development of EV technology. The manufacturing plant, in the 3rd rank of scale, is currently under construction in Rayong, Thailand. Due to the demands of communication in Thai and Chinese languages, employees with such skills are highly sought after. Therefore, partnering with BYD will provide significant employment benefits for graduates of RMUTT.
The university has partnered with BYD to create opportunities for co-creation for both students and employees, in addition to training programs and other courses matching the credit bank system. The objective of this collaboration is to provide graduates and employees with skill-upgrading opportunities that can lead to better work opportunities and income. The collaboration involves research and internship cooperation in the fields of electronics, digital technology, and electric vehicles.
