04/10/2010Faculty of Home Economics invites to visit “Faculty of Home Economics, all together, tributes Queen Sirikit”
Faculty of Home Economics, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) would like intentionally to invite to visit its exhibition named “Faculty of Home Economics, all together, tributes Queen Sirikit” aiming to conserve, promote, inherit and promulgate many Thai cultural aspects relating to home economics such as textile, food and nutrition and home economic art exhibition displaying students’ works. Moreover, its aim also is to exchange the career experiences including applying of different materials, being found in community.
In this activity, there are many sub-activities and works being displayed. They are such as Textiles and Apparel, Discussion, Fashion Shows of Classic Clothes, The Development of Lopburi Silk Mudmee, Natural Fiber Products, Clothes in Imagination with Lotuses, Thai Bag Development with Geometry Pattern. For works relating to food and nutrition, the visitors will be able to participate and enjoy with activities such as Healthy Food for Mother, Rice with Salmons Salad, Miang Lotus Petal, Lotus Root Dessert, Massaman Chicken, Spring Rolls Fruit, Sprinkle Rice Powder Development, Cookies, Pad Thai and Kinnaree Wing. Here, there will also be works relating to home economic with applied arts. The visitors can see the biggest panpum to bless His Majesty The King. This panpum has a diameter at 84 centimeters, made of 184,000 invented pink flower petals. Moreover, there will also be a display of giant jasmine, Queen Royal Arch, Handmade sufficient economic products developed from sedge, Home Economic with Children Development and so on.
“Faculty of Home Economics, all together, tributes Queen Sirikit” is set on August 6-8, 2010 at Rinna-Ubon Conference Room, 48 Years His Majesty Birthday Anniversary Building, RMUTT, Pathumtani.
