“Atthachai Singthong,” Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, brings national fame, receives commendation from the Prime Minister and a plaque from the Ministry of Education

On January 8, 2025, at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, Mr. Atthachai Singthong, or “Nong At”, a student from the Faculty of Business Administration at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), was honored with a plaque recognizing him as a youth who has brought fame to the nation in the academic field. The award was presented by Police General Permpoon Chidchob, Minister of Education. Additionally, he received encouragement from Prime Minister Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who praised his achievements and urged him to continue contributing beneficial works to society, highlighting him as a role model for young people. This accolade brings pride to his family, educational institution, and Thailand.

Mr. Atthachai Singthong, a 21-year-old youth, has previously gained international recognition by becoming the world champion, winning 1st place in the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 2024 under the Microsoft PowerPoint (Office 2019) category in California, USA. He has won numerous other awards, showcasing his potential and dedication to developing information technology skills. His success has been supported by RMUTT, especially the faculty who provided close guidance, former global champions from RMUTT, and senior members from ARIT Co., Ltd., who coached him intensively. His achievements serve as significant inspiration for youths nationwide.

On this occasion, Mr. Atthachai expressed gratitude for all the support he received, saying, “Thank you to my family for always supporting me. I also want to thank Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi for giving me this opportunity and support to reach this point. I am very happy to have my fellow Thai peers support me with encouragement. I promise to improve myself continuously and use what I have learned to benefit the university and society as a whole.”

The day was filled with joy, with administrators, faculty, staff, and friends from RMUTT congratulating him on this significant occasion. His achievement not only brought fame to the institution but also reflected the potential development of youth in the dimensions of educational quality and innovation for development. Moreover, it serves as a driving force to promote knowledge and skills that can bring positive change to society.
