RMUTT Establishes a Science and Technology Learning Center in the Heart of the City

PTT Public Company Limited, in collaboration with MCOT Public Company Limited, and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Foundation have invited high school students to showcase their rhetoric talent in the Verbal Art contest, to promote the importance of the word “support” to the society. The topic of the contest is “the power of support” and the winner will receive the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Cup and a scholarship, with a combined total value of THB 200,000.
20 contestants from more than 600 were selected for the final round of the contest. The environment and talking on stage was full of excitement. Moreover, five contestants received awards in the second Verbal Art contest: Ms. Palinee Sinthong, a third year student from the Faculty of Education, Thai Language, at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat Univiersity (RBRU) received first place. Ms. Sirichok Kosanlawit from Chulalongkorn University received first runner-up, and Ms. Araya Songsrikhet from Mae Fah Luang University received second runner-up. Furthermore, both Novice Vasilp Ruangworaboon from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and Ms. Pitchaporn Kulruang from Silpakorn University received honorable mentions. Ms. Phattaraporn Yungyeun from RMUTT received the People’s Choice award.
It was an honor to have five distinguished members, namely Assoc. Prof. Somsak Viraporn from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Foundation, Mr. Sittichai Kaewchinda from PTT Public Company Limited, Prof. Jathupone Chompoonich, Dr. Panadda Wongphudee, and Mr. Vasin Bunyakom, attend the final day of the contest. All distinguished members provided great advice on rhetoric to all contestants.
