Announcement of Grants for Innovation Projects Crucial for National Development in Circular Economy, Low-Carbon Economy, and Clean Energy

Associate Professor Dr. Kiattisak Saengpradit, Director of the Institute of Research and Development at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), welcomed participants to the public relations event for announcing grants on innovation projects essential for national development. These projects focus on circular economy, low-carbon economy, and clean energy. Mr. Ukrit Kijsirijarunchai, Senior Innovation Development Manager of the National Innovation Agency (NIA), inaugurated the event by introducing the role and platforms promoted by NIA.

On February 7, 2024, the Institute of Research and Development (IRD) at RMUTT and the National Innovation Agency (NIA) jointly organized the launch and public relations event for the Mandatory Grant innovation projects for the fiscal year 2024. The goal is to support entrepreneurs in the innovation business sector focusing on circular economy, low-carbon economy, and clean energy through targeted innovation grants or Thematic Innovation mechanisms at the National Innovation Agency. The event was inaugurated by Associate Professor Dr. Kiattisak Saengpradit, who introduced the role of IRD and its collaboration with NIA on circular economy, low-carbon economy, and clean energy projects.

Mr. Ukrit Kijsirijarunchai introduced the essential innovation platform required for national development. Alongside, Ms. Walaya Wisanbanwit and Ms. Pitcharee Keeratithakul, from the NIA Economic Innovation Division, introduced themes, project examples, and the application process for joining the projects. The event also included Q&A sessions and one-on-one consultation activities for more than 30 interested participants from the private sector and universities.
